AMMON A. BURLEY

        Ammon A. Burley, 82, of Cameron, died Monday March 25, 2024 at his residence.

        He was born April 15, 1941 at Belton, a son of the late Lindsey Burley and Martha Carney Burley.

        Bud worked as a farmer and a timber cutter.

        Surviving is his wife, Flora Joann Williams Burley; two sons and their spouses, Ammon A. Burley, Jr. and his wife Pam of Cameron, Michael Burley and his companion Shirley of Littleton; three daughters and their husbands, Flora Earnest and her husband Stephen of Graysville, PA, Sherry Miller and her husband Rob of Cameron, and Tammy Wood and her husband Tom of Moundsville; one sister, Annette Lloyd of Sebring, Ohio; eight grandchildren, Jake Burley (Sarah) of Littleton, Toby Burley of Metz, Lindsay Burley of Hundred, Jacob Wood (Courtney Miles) and Jordan Wood (Haley Griffith) all of Trenton, Florida, Jeremy Earnest of Graysville, PA, Austin Burley of Cameron, and Isaac Miller of Cameron; and two great-grandchildren, Mackenzie Burley and Aldin Burley, both of Littleton.

        In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Ardell Burley, and one sister Arlene Barrett.

        Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home, 2678 Hornet Highway, Hundred, WV from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday, March 28, 2024.  Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM on Friday with Evangelist Steve Stevens officiating.  Interment will follow in the Rice Ridge Cemetery.
